There is a need to develop debt market at retail level. There are number of NCDs listed in BSE and NSE, but information about the date of maturity, interest rate etc. are not available with dealers of Stock Brokers.
It is therefore required that SEBI mandates dedicated staffs to be appointed by Stock Brokers for developing secondary market for these NCDs.
